Dave Terwilliger is an artist that grew up and still lives in Minnesota. He has spent much of his time in the woods and on the lakes of both northern Minnesota and Colorado. His realistic, yet sometimes abstract, depictions of peaceful serenities are meant to pay homage to his favorite places and times away from life's other interests. As a youngster and youth he learned to draw from his very artistic father and studied both Art and Finance in college. Much later in life he took up painting and became a self-taught acrylic/oil artist as an outlet from his other interests and obligations. "My hope is you feel you've been there before and it becomes a reminder of the serenity of that moment(s) in your busy life....the ordinary becomes extraordinary but with a little more color!"
